I get it. Being in front of a camera makes some people tense up and panic because what do we do with our hands?! Amber is like your best friend who also happens to be an amazing photographer. She was so fun to work with and really allows you to be yourself in front of the camera. Your engagement session is an excellent opportunity for us to get to know one another in a casual atmosphere. I want your images to be the most honest expression of your relationship and that doesn’t happen with a stranger, it happens with someone you trust.
Your session will have a natural flow – we’ll walk and talk and you’ll get a feel for being in front of the camera. My approach is meant to give you enough guidance to feel confident and enough space to feel private. You'll feel like a proper model by your wedding day.
A FEW TIPS:
Wear something that makes you feel confident and comfortable. These photos are about expressing yourself as a couple so try not to overthink it. Just be sure to express yourself in comfortable shoes since we usually end up in a field. Speaking of locations, it’s always fun to shoot at a location that’s meaningful to you, whether it be the place you went on your first hike, or the bookstore where you met. I can also make location recommendations depending on your preferences. The Central Coast is truly amazing – we’ve got mountains, beaches, and fields aplenty. Yes, I said aplenty.

DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS?
Absolutely. I've been lucky enough to shoot in beautiful locations across the country, as well as Mexico. I'm based in California but my passport is current and my picture is as awful as you'd expect.
HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL WE RECEIVE?
Somewhere between 500-800 carefully edited images for a wedding and 80-120 carefully edited images for an engagement session. That’s a lot of good photos.
HOW LONG UNTIL WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?
2- 3 weeks. Rad, right? I work hard to deliver your photos while the day is still fresh in your memory.
ARE WE A GOOD FIT?
Hopefully! I think it's super important that you feel comfortable with your wedding photographer - you'll spend your entire wedding day with this person! I prefer to schedule a phone call or in person chat to make sure we like each other's jokes. So let's talk!
